Every girl loves presents. It's the essence of a relationship. However there are extents in which the gifts should come. Stuffed animals are always something to add onto the dressing of your bed. Pictures frames decorate the night stand. Perfume, well you can never have to much of. But when it comes down to the more serious gifts, perhaps jewelry, there are certain emblems to look out for. Time spent in a relationship is the key factor. Long term relationships jewelry is nothing to necessarily worry about unless its an engagement ring. But relationships that have only been a few weeks there are definitely "clinger" signs. If a boy you have only been dating for a few weeks buys you a locket necklace. Definitely means he is attached. Attached may be a good thing or a bad thing. If he just bought the locket for you because he thought you would like it, that is a good attachment. A locket that comes along with an hour long profession of love, something to watch out for. For me, every locket I have received in the past comes later down the line with a psycho you don't want to deal with the end. The profession of love is cute, and romantic with the gift, but can become a major issue later when he becomes a possession freak and thinks that locket means you are locked down. Freedom is good and no one should have the right to take that away. Not even the boy that spends money on you, it ends up not being everything you saw coming that night he gave you that box.
